I met FPI Security close to 20 years ago, but they've been in the city of Hialeah since 1981 and it is an incredible corporation. The fact that Andres Perez started this company and that it's been going strong for 40 years is a virtue. You don't see companies that do that anymore, right? All companies nowadays are open for a couple of years, they change their names, they leave and go somewhere else. Yet, FPI Security has been in the city of Hialeah, serving the residents and the businesses of Hialeah for 40 years, which is amazing.

They started with a small company in the area of Palm Springs Mile, on 49th Street, which is the main street in the city of Hialeah. They served all the businesses from East 4th Avenue to 12th Avenue and another complex off 49th St. That was such a great help for the police officers, because when police officers knew that FPI security was there, they felt comfortable knowing that the businesses there were protected.

And though the police officers were a back up to the FPI Security guards, they knew that that everything was being handled correctly. They knew that the crime was down in that area because of FPI’s patrolling. That was great for the community. That was great for the city of Hialeah. That was great for the police officers, and definitely great for whoever was shopping in those stores.
